When choosing our Mahalo Monday recipients we make it a point to support our four-legged friends. A few of the recipients this year are Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, The SPCA, Animal Friends Rescue Project and more! At Hula's we love animals,and we hope you do, too! That is why this month we are having a special photo contest on Facebook for you to post pictures of your pets (all animals welcome!). Winning post will receive a $100 gift certificate to Hula's!
Each month we are proud to give 10% of all sales to a local, deserving non-profit organization. This February visit Hula's in Santa Cruz to support FleaHab! FleaHab provides an alternative sober living program for clients interested in a more holistic approach to recovery.
In Monterey, the recipient is the local SPCA! The SPCA has had a long and rich history of helping people and animals in Monterey County. Be sure to participate in our Photo Contest on Facebook this month to show off your four-legged friends!
February is National Sweet Potato Month and to celebrate we are giving away baskets of Sweet Potato Fries all month long! Back in 1998 when Hula's first opened their doors, Sweet Potato Fries were not readily offered in restaurants...Hula's was the only restaurant in the area serving them! They were very different for the average fry enthusiast, but Hula's was dedicated to serving the tasty treat, paired with the now famous, secret Hula Sauce!
